Nagaland State Lottery Results
The State Lottery department of Nagaland publishes Nagaland state lottery results every day in the form of newspaper advertisements.
The state lotteries are organised by various states or union territories of India to generate revenue for development works within the Indian states and territories under their jurisdiction. All state lotteries are run by State Government through a set-up called Directorate of State Lotteries, which is responsible for selling tickets for all government-run gambling games including lotteries.
State lotteries are operated by 41 different regional governments throughout India, with ticket purchases available in authorized stores across all regions. These are run by nine different State Governments through their respective State Lottery departments which are mainly governed by the State lotteries act of state governments.
The Directorate Of State Lotteries organizes these lotteries for the various States and Union territories in India on their behalf. The earnings go to a specified governmental fund called Public Money Board, which is then redistributed among providing funds for social programs, infrastructure development and other related purposes. These lotteries have been hugely popular in India and have raised a staggering US$ 3 billion in revenue in the financial year 2007-2008 alone.
